Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)

Borderline Personality Disorder is often misunderstood as people who are attention seekers. Most therapists also label them as being difficult to work with, and doctors might think they are not compliant with treatment protocols or medication. This is simply not true. In fact, many clients with BPD are highly sensitive individuals with so much love and kindness to give others. However, one of the things that may stop them is a history of trauma and decision-making skills that are impulsive.

At The Therapy Nest Wellness, we use a trauma-informed approach to help clients learn about their diagnoses and build skills for their interpersonal relationships. Here is quick way to picture BPD.
